Installing CliniClue Xplore

The following instructions explain how to install CliniClue Xplore on a Windows XP or Vista computer. It may also be possible to install CliniClue Xplore on other platforms that offer Windows compatible virtual machines.

To install:

  1. Run the setup program. The setup program is called CliniClueXplore_setup_[datestamp].exe There is no need to uninstall previous versions. However, an uninstall option accessible from the Windows / Start menu may be used if you wish to remove CliniClue Xplore.

    The numeric part of the setup file name (e.g. 20091128) represents the date of the build and will differ in each released setup file. On Vista you may need to run the installer in administrator mode (right-click over the file and select the 'Run as Administrator' option).

  2. Read and confirm acceptance of the CliniClue Xplore Licence.
  3. Respond to the subsequent setup prompts including selection of the installation folder. If in doubt, accept the default option.

  5. If this is the first time you have installed CliniClue Xplore, you will need to import the SNOMED CT Editions you require before running CliniClue Xplore. Follow the links below for the relevant instructions. Import ClueData for a SNOMED CT Edition Select a SNOMED CT Edition
  6. You are now ready to use the CliniClue Xplore Browser. Using the CliniClue Browser
